Founded in 2006, our company realised that the scarcity of silicon and the high cost pressure in the solar industry was an opportunity. In the CIGSSe technology, we secured one of the most promising processes of the future.

In our fully integrated production site at Brandenburg an der Havel, we will produce solar modules based on the new thin film technology. Using CIGSSe technology obviates the need for the expensive raw material, silicon. Costs are reduced through a production process that is integrated over all value adding stages and through the significantly decreased materials requirement. In addition, the fully integrated value chain ensures our independence and the high quality standard of the modules.

Our production site has a nominal capacity of 30 Megawatts (MW). Market launch is planned for 2008.
